ASEAN Strategy for Enhancing Knowledge Management on Disaster Health Management

Introduction: ASEAN Leaders’ Declaration on Disaster Health Management (ALD DHM) (2019-2025) was adopted by the Summit in November 2017 to strengthen DHM system at national and regional levels, Plan of Action (POA) implement ALD endorsed Ministers Meeting August 2019. Knowledge (KM) is one five priority areas POA with relevant targets including academic network establishment, organization conferences, publication journal DHM, so forth. The ARCH Project Phase2 (ARCH2), which started January 2022, focuses aiming support implementation this POA. Method: ARCH2 will establishment Academic Network (AAN-DHM) Institute for (AIDHM). In addition, promotion activities shall be conducted under AAN-DHM collaboration AAN member institutes AIDHM. Results: Terms Reference (TOR) 15th May 2022. Afterward, National Focal Point (NFP) were nominated among all Member States (AMS). first meeting representatives NFP held September 2022 discuss several such as governance AAN-DHM, plan Conference (AAC), Journal. Simultaneously, TOR AIDHM prepared further discussion its establishment. Conclusion: has already been established initiate preparation activities. AAC scheduled 2023 Indonesia event accelerating toward enhancing KM region AAN-DHM.
